1Why Indian Hair?
Indian hair is high valued in the hair industry due to its natural dark colour, strength, durability and texture. Indian hair because of its strength and versatility can also be decolorized into dark, medium and light blonde perfect for the Caucasian market.
2What is the source of Remy Virgin Hair?
Most of the Remy Virgin hair is sourced from South Indian Temples. Where devotees tonsure their hair to offer it the gods for answering their prayers. This is very common practice in Hindu Faith. This is highest quality and more expensive than processed Non-Remy hair.
3What is the source of Non-Remy Hair?
Majority of Non-Remy hair is sourced from India. The brushed or fallen hair is collected by women and sold to local collectors who in turn sell it to manufactures. Every hair is used including dyed or grey hair to process and make extensions.
4What is Remy Hair?
In Remy hair all the strands of hair are in one direction keeping the natural growth pattern i.e all the strands of hair are in one direction from root to tip. This hair comes predominantly from one donor.
5What is Virgin Hair?
Virgin hair is the hair, which is not undergone with any chemical process. Hence it is in its 100% natural state with no damage to its cuticles.
6What is Remy Processed or CF Hair?
Non-Remy hair is processed with chemicals to remove the cuticles to make it tangle free and usable. This hair is a lower quality hair than temple virgin remy hair.
7What is Single Drawn Hair?
In single drawn hair the natural hair tapper is maintained with the top (root) size leveled with no short hair 5” or less.
8What is Double Drawn Hair?
In double drawn hair all the strands of hair are same length from top to bottom. This is done through manual sorting of hair.
9What is “Bulk Hair”?
Bulk hair is loose hair tied in bundles according to sizes. Bulk hair is used to make many types of hair extensions or wigs.
10What is “Weft Hair”?
Weft hair is a process of sewing the strands of hair in a straight line and make a bundle of hair. This can be done with a weft Sewing machine called machine weft hair or by hand called hand tied weft.
11What are the Natural Hair Textures?
Natural texture of hair is of three types, which is straight, wavy and curly. These textures are the natural growth pattern of the donor. These textures may very from bundle to bundle or donor to donor. As there might be a slight variation of hair texture from people to people. The natural hair texture does not change by washing the hair.
12What are Processed Hair Textures?
Hair textures are enhanced or made from straight hair by processing them with steam pressure or chemical process. These textures will only last up to certain washes specified by the manufacture.
13Can you Colour the Hair?
Our temple virgin hair with natural colour can be dyed by the client to even light bleach colours like #613.
14How long the hair will last?
Our temple virgin remy hair will last more than year based on how well the client takes care of it. CF or processed hair will last 3 to 6 months based on how well the client takes care of the hair.
